At Giggr., we take your privacy seriously. This page explains, transparently, what data we collect when you use the platform, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are.

Data we collect

We only collect the data needed for Giggr. to work:

  • Identity: first name, last name and, if you provide it, your date of birth.
  • Account: email address and password (always stored encrypted).
  • Musical profile: bio, instruments, genres, city, status and the photos you publish.
  • Interactions: messages sent through the inbox and listings you post.
  • Technical data: connection information strictly necessary to keep the service secure.

Why we process your data

Your data is used to create and manage your account, display your profile to other musicians, enable connections and messaging, and keep the platform secure. We never sell your data and never use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, it is erased or anonymised within a reasonable time, unless a legal obligation requires us to retain it.

Sharing with third parties

Giggr. does not share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. Only the information you choose to make public on your profile is visible to other members. Technical providers (hosting, email delivery) may process some data on our behalf, strictly within the scope of the service.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights at any time:
